Declaration of Peace

Article 1: Commitment to Unity
1.1 We commit to prioritizing unity over division, understanding that our collective strength lies in mutual respect, cooperation, and shared goals.
1.2 We will set aside personal, regional, or ideological differences that detract from our focus on advancing the rights, dignity, and opportunities for all Black Americans.

Article 2: Protection of Community Interests
2.1 We agree to focus on protecting and uplifting the most vulnerable among us, including addressing issues of systemic inequality, economic disparities, and social injustices.
2.2 We will support initiatives that strengthen our families, communities, and institutions, fostering economic independence, education, and cultural preservation.

Article 3: Mutual Accountability
3.1 We hold ourselves accountable for upholding this agreement by engaging in constructive dialogue, avoiding harmful conflicts, and resolving disputes with integrity and fairness.
3.2 We commit to calling out and addressing actions or behaviors that undermine our collective progress while fostering a spirit of reconciliation and growth.

Article 4: Advocacy for Structural Change
4.1 We will collectively advocate for policies and actions that advance justice, equity, and reparative measures for the Black American community.
4.2 We commit to building and supporting Black-led organizations, businesses, and institutions that serve as vehicles for change and empowerment.

Article 5: Commitment to Future Generations
5.1 We acknowledge the responsibility we carry for future generations and commit to creating a foundation of opportunity, hope, and prosperity for those who follow us.
5.2 We agree to educate, mentor, and empower youth to carry forward the vision of progress and unity.
